I have truly been on a ring making binge and loving every moment.  I roll a ball of precious metal clay the size of a pin head, then flatten it between my fingers and use a scalpel to carve in the miniscule veins in the leaf.  Stay tuned because I am going to be adding a video of not only this process but the entire process of hand making these rings.  I have made my share of rings using fabrication and silversmithing but nothing is more challenging than taking tiny bits of metal clay that is actually fine silver & sterling and hand sculpting to create a ring.  This process is actually more closely aligned with primitive days before casting and molds.
